**Important Information
for Your Christmas Mini Session:**
Before your session, here are some very important details to ensure a smooth and festive experience:
🎄 **Color Theme**
1
For the best result, please choose outfits that match the warm, festive colours of the Christmas sets. Red, green, brown, mustard, cream and other warm or neutral shades work particularly well. Christmas jumpers, cosy knits and classic festive outfits are very welcome.
Please avoid black clothing. Large areas of black can lose detail in photographs and blend together into one dark shape, especially when several family members are wearing it. It also does not edit well with the warm colours and lighting used in this year's Christmas sets.
Sportswear, tracksuits and clothing with large or noticeable logos are NOT SUITABLE FOR THE SESSION.
A selection of outfits is available to use at the studio (at no extra cost). If you would like to use an outfit, please let me know before your session so I can check the correct size and availability.
👨👩👧👦 **Family Coordination**
2
For a beautiful and coordinated family look, consider choosing colours and outfits that work well together. Matching outfits, including matching Christmas pyjamas, are absolutely welcome and can look lovely in festive photographs.
If you prefer not to match exactly, simply choose colours from a similar palette so that everyone's outfits complement each other.
👗 **Outfit Change**
3
One quick change of outfit is possible during your session if you’d like a different look. Please plan this in advance so we can make the most of the time available.
👟 **Footwear Guidance**
4
Since the photos will be taken among decorations, props, and scenery, I kindly request that everyone being photographed removes their outdoor shoes and puts on clean ones. Christmas socks are also welcome and can be used as an alternative to shoes.
🍪 **Food & Drinks**
5
To keep the studio and Christmas sets clean and ready for every family, NO food or drinks are allowed during the session or on the sets.
Christmas Mini Sessions are short, so please give children any snacks or drinks before or after the session. Crisps and other snacks can leave crumbs, while sweets and drinks can be sticky or cause permanent stains on backdrops, furniture and props.
Sessions are booked one after another, and there is limited time for cleaning between families. Keeping food and drinks away from the sets ensures that every client arrives to the same clean and beautifully prepared studio.
Water can be provided after the session if needed.
🧼 **Clean & Camera Ready**
6
Please make sure children arrive with clean faces, hands and clothes, ready for their photographs. Some foods, especially brightly coloured crisps, lollies and sauces, can leave surprisingly strong stains around the mouth, on fingers and on clothing, so these are best avoided shortly before the session.
A quick clean and check for runny noses before your appointment makes a big difference. Please make sure children are clean and ready when they arrive.
⏱️ **Timing and Punctuality**
7
Christmas Mini Sessions last up to 30 minutes, which is usually plenty of time. As sessions are booked back-to-back, please arrive on time. If you are late, your session may need to be shortened so that the next family's appointment is not delayed.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early, especially if your child needs to change clothes before the session. The studio is on the 2nd floor, and the lift can be quite slow and occasionally travels to the 3rd floor first, so please allow a few extra minutes to get upstairs.
⏱️ **Need a Little More Time?**
8
Most children are comfortable with the standard 30 minute session. However, if you know that your child may need more time to settle, become familiar with the studio or simply work at a slower pace, you can extend your session by an additional 30 minutes for £50.
This option must be arranged in advance, as extra time cannot be guaranteed on the day when another family is booked immediately after your session.
If your child has additional or sensory needs, please feel free to let me know when booking. This helps me prepare where possible and make the experience more comfortable, without rushing your child.
😴 **Rested, Fed & Ready for a Happy Session**
9
Please try to book your session well away from your child’s usual nap time, including the time just before their nap. Although it may seem convenient to have the photographs done first and let them sleep afterwards, a tired child is often less able to settle, engage or enjoy the session.
Please make sure babies and young children are well fed before arriving. A hungry baby or toddler is unlikely to be comfortable or interested in having their photograph taken, and with a 30 minute Mini Session there is very limited time to stop for feeding.
If your child is having a nap before the session, please allow enough time for them to wake up properly, get ready and arrive feeling comfortable and refreshed.
Appointment times are available throughout the day, from 12:00 until 18:00, giving you plenty of choice to find a time that works around your child’s usual routine. Please choose a time when your child is normally awake, rested and at their happiest.
👵🏼👴🏼 **Grandparents & Extended Family**
10
Grandparents are very welcome to join your Christmas Mini Session. Please let me know in advance if they will be attending so I can prepare accordingly.
A Christmas Mini Session covers one household/immediate family and their children, with grandparents welcome to join them. One booking does not cover several adult families and their children.
For example, if grandparents would like to attend with three of their adult children, and each of those children is bringing their own partner and children, this is considered three separate family groups, not one Mini Session.
If several family groups would like photographs during the same visit, please contact me before booking. Each family group will need its own session, and I can arrange consecutive appointments where possible.
🐾 **Pets Are Welcome**
11
Pets are very welcome to join your Christmas Mini Session and be part of the family photographs. Please let me know in advance if you are planning to bring a pet, so I can prepare the studio and sets accordingly.
Please make sure your pet is clean and supervised at all times while in the studio.
To maintain focus during the session, please refrain from bringing children who are not being photographed.

📸 **Can I take photos during the session?**
12
Photography and video recording on personal devices are not permitted during the session, as I'd like you to relax and enjoy the experience while I concentrate fully on creating your photographs.
If there is something you'd particularly like to capture behind the scenes, please speak to me first.
🎁 The Experience Doesn’t End Here...
I’ve been working on a little something special for this year’s Christmas sessions. Something your child can take home with them, continue exploring and enjoy long after their 30 minutes in the studio are over.
I won’t spoil the surprise just yet. ❤️ But if your child needs a little encouragement or is feeling unsure about their session, you can let them know that something special will be waiting for them at the end of their Christmas adventure.
Because this year, I wanted the experience to last a little longer than the photoshoot itself. 🎄
I’m so excited to welcome you to the studio this Christmas!
If you have any questions, concerns or special requests, please get in touch before your session. The more I know in advance, the better I can prepare and make your experience relaxed and enjoyable.
I can’t wait to create some wonderful Christmas memories with you! 🎄📸❤️
